Cognitive Assistants – DFKI

The group focusses on interdisciplinary research and teaching concepts related to novel techniques of human-environment interaction. It combines methods from engineering, artificial intelligence, user-centered design and cognitive psychology. The goal is to better understand and design cognitive assistance systems that have multimodal capabilities and can be used in ubiquitous computing environments. The UMTL is based at Saarland University and has close personal and conceptual links with the DFKI research department “Cognitive Assistance Systems”.
