The group currently pursues interdisciplinary research at the intersection between robotics, image processing, computer engineering, cognitive science, neuroscience, and computational neuroethology. We develop and test models of biological systems with the goal to understand biological principles of information processing and to apply the insights for the development of autonomous artificial agents.
